ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Valid State Type E or equivalent driver’s license, unrestricted, for operating heavy freight vehicles. Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience driving Torton trucks or similar heavy freight vehicles. Availability for travel and overnight stays away from home. Physical fitness suitable for loading and unloading activities. Knowledge of traffic regulations, road safety, and freight transportation procedures. Responsible, punctual profile committed to route adherence and timely deliveries. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Driving Torton trucks on local and long-distance routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Proper loading, unloading, and securing of cargo in accordance with safety procedures. Daily vehicle inspection before and after each trip (fluid levels, brakes, tires, and safety equipment). Recording routes, times, deliveries, and incidents in the trip logbook. Maintaining constant communication with the logistics department to report incidents, delays, or maintenance requirements. Strict compliance with traffic regulations and freight transportation standards. Assisting in maintaining order and cleanliness of the vehicle and assigned work area. REQUIRED PROFILE Verifiable experience driving Torton trucks or similar heavy freight vehicles. Valid State Type E or equivalent driver’s license. Ability to manually load and unload cargo.
