Their role extends beyond food preparation to encompass **comprehensive food management**, from menu planning through pantry management to final dish presentation. **Primary Functions and Responsibilities:** * Propose and design **customized menus** aligned with specific diets (weight management, therapeutic diets, sports nutrition, vegetarian, vegan, food intolerances, among others). * Adapt dishes to **medical or nutritional guidelines**, coordinating with nutritionists or specialists when necessary. * Plan weekly or monthly menus ensuring **nutritional balance, variety, and quality**. * Carry out **purchase planning**, ingredient selection, and **pantry management**, guaranteeing fresh, high-quality products appropriate for the established diet. * Prepare food following **high standards of hygiene, safety, and professional culinary techniques**. * Monitor inventory, expiration dates, and proper food storage. * Adjust recipes and portion sizes according to client needs. * Maintain a clean, organized kitchen compliant with health regulations. * Provide basic guidance on healthy eating habits and food preparation methods. * Adapt flexibly to changes in client needs, schedules, and preferences with complete confidentiality and professionalism.
