Position Summary: Ensure layout, leveling, and surveying control for housing units and urban development, guaranteeing execution in accordance with drawings and technical specifications. Field collaboration with supervisors and contractors for corrections. **Position Objective** Ensure layout, leveling, and surveying control for mass-produced housing units and subdivision urban development, guaranteeing that construction is executed in accordance with architectural drawings, executive project plans, and technical specifications. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Conduct **topographic surveys** of the site prior to commencement of construction. * Perform **layout and setting-out** of lots, roads, sidewalks, platforms, foundations, and housing units. * Verify **elevations, slopes, and alignments** according to architectural, structural, and urban development drawings. * Control and validate **foundation elevations, foundation levels, slab levels, and construction axes**. * Support in the **location of utilities** (drainage, potable water, wastewater, manholes, etc.). * Maintain a **surveying logbook**, progress reports, and records of corrections identified on-site. * Coordinate with site representatives, supervisors, and contractors regarding layout or leveling corrections. * Operate and maintain **surveying equipment** (total station, automatic level, GPS, drone – if applicable). * Prepare sketches, supporting drawings, and **as-built drawings**, when required. * Verify that construction complies with **project specifications and established tolerances**. **Education** * Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in: * Surveying * Civil Engineering **Experience** * Minimum **1 to 3 years** in mass housing construction, residential subdivisions, or housing developments. **Technical Knowledge** * Ability to interpret **topographic, architectural, and urban development drawings**. * Proficiency in operating **total stations, automatic levels, and GPS**. * Knowledge of **elevations, levels, slopes, and construction axes**. * Basic software skills: **AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar** (preferred). * Understanding of construction processes for mass housing. * ***Personal vehicle preferred*** **Skills** * Precision and attention to detail. * Organization and information management. * Fieldwork under pressure and tight construction schedules. * Effective communication with supervisors and work crews. * Ability to identify deviations and propose corrective actions. **Working Hours** Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $20,000.00 – $23,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for an indefinite-term contract Work Location: On-site employment
