Technical analysis and development of electrical project proposals **Electrical Design Engineer – Medium- and Low-Voltage Industrial** **Job Objective** To prepare, analyze, and integrate catalogs of electrical project concepts for industrial medium- and low-voltage applications by accurately quantifying materials, labor, equipment, and services—ensuring technically and economically competitive, profitable proposals aligned with client requirements and applicable regulations. **Main Functions and Responsibilities** * Technical analysis of projects * Review and interpretation of: Electrical drawings, Single-line diagrams, Technical specifications, Client specifications, Tender documents, Technical scope analysis of the project, among others. * Identification of requirements for: Medium voltage, Low voltage, Substations, Electrical feeders, Electrical panels, Electrical conduit systems, Grounding / lightning protection systems, among others. * Preparation of detailed catalogs of electrical project concepts for industrial applications. * Quantification of electrical materials * Quotation and cost analysis * Development of technical and economic proposals * Integration of proposals for clients. **Required Technical Knowledge:** Electrical Systems * Medium voltage (13.2 kV, 23 kV, 34.5 kV) * Low voltage (480 V, 220 V, 127 V) * Electrical substations * Electrical panels * Industrial electrical conduit systems **Regulations:** * NOM-001-SEDE-2012 Electrical Installations (Utilization). * CFE Standards (overhead – underground) * NOM-022-STPS-2015 Static Electricity in the Workplace – Safety Conditions. * Grid Code (desirable) * Industrial technical specifications **Requirements:** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field. **Minimum Experience:** 3 to 5 years in: * Preparation of industrial electrical budgets. * Medium- and low-voltage projects. * Electrical substations. * Industrial electrical installations.
