DE C.V. is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter – Furniture Manufacturing position in Naucalpan de Juárez, State of Mexico** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A wood and metal furniture factory seeks a CUTTING AND NESTING TECHNICIAN DRAFTER. The ideal candidate will possess the following profile: Education: Higher technical or university-level degree in computer-aided drafting, manufacturing, and/or Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 1 year in similar roles performing optimization, nesting, and/or vector drawing for CNC machine cutting. Mandatory experience in furniture manufacturing (integrated kitchens, residential furniture, retail furniture, etc.). Knowledge: Technical drawing interpretation, cutting diagrams, material nesting sheets, basic CNC programming, cutting sheet optimization. Proficiency: Drafting and design software — Basic SolidWorks, 3D CAD, and AutoCAD. Your main responsibilities will be: Analyze drawings and technical specifications to prepare parts lists (bills of materials) and determine final nesting dimensions. Minimize wood waste (yield loss) using specialized software and optimization techniques. Generate vector drawings for CNC machine cutting.
