Responsibilities * Design and create striking, stylized visual effects (e.g., magic, explosions, impacts) within Unreal Engine. * Integrate VFX into the game optimally, maintaining visual style and performance. * Collaborate with animators, designers, and programmers to ensure aesthetic and technical consistency. * Iterate on existing effects to enhance gameplay experience. * Use tools such as Maya or Blender, Substance Painter, and Photoshop to create supporting assets when necessary. * Adapt to an established pipeline using techniques that may not be the most recent but are efficient and proven. Requirements * Proficiency in Unreal Engine, especially its particle systems and materials. * Strong artistic eye for stylized/cartoonish, non-realistic aesthetics. * Experience with tools such as Maya or Blender, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. * Ability to work autonomously. * Knowledge of optimization techniques for online competitive games. * Ability to adapt to an established production pipeline. * Familiarity with legacy systems or unconventional pipelines.
