Job Summary: We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in coordinating launch activities in painting and body shop areas for an automotive OEM, focused on management, installation, and commissioning of industrial projects. We are looking for a Project Manager with experience coordinating launch activities in painting and body shop areas to support an automotive OEM in managing, installing, and commissioning industrial projects. **Responsibilities** **Layout Development and Review** * Create annotated 2D layouts for each design option, including workstations, material zones, operator routes, and buffer areas. * Ensure drawings comply with annotation standards (e.g., dimensions, symbols, legends) to facilitate interpretation. * Participate in technical review meetings, taking clear notes on requested changes and delivery deadlines. Implementation of Changes * Update CAD designs after each review, incorporating modifications swiftly and accurately. * Validate that changes do not cause spatial or ergonomic conflicts with other layout areas. * Share updated versions with the Layout Engineer and other stakeholders for approval. **Final Documentation Preparation** * Compile the final layout package, ensuring it includes: o Approved drawings in digital format (PDF/DWG). o Station-specific bills of materials or equipment lists (if applicable). o Clear annotations regarding installation or safety requirements. * Review documentation to eliminate inconsistencies or ambiguities prior to delivery. **Ongoing Support** * Provide technical clarifications to production or assembly teams during physical implementation of layouts. * Document lessons learned during the design process to improve future projects. * Propose optimizations to annotation standards or workflow based on acquired experience. **Requirements** * Advanced experience in 2D design using CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar), with proficiency in annotation tools and layers. * Ability to produce clean, clear, and annotated conceptual layouts, facilitating interpretation by multidisciplinary teams. * Rapid and efficient iteration of designs, essential for meeting tight deadlines (e.g., weekly reviews). * Solid knowledge of manufacturing line elements: workstations, material zones, operator routes, and safety standards. * Experience converting engineering markups into presentation- and construction-ready drawings. * English B2-C1. **Benefits** * Competitive base salary. * Major medical expense insurance (including dental and vision). * 15 days’ year-end bonus. * 25% vacation premium. * 12 vacation days from the first year. * Social security (IMSS). * Biweekly grocery vouchers.
