




Position Summary: A registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree, surgical experience, and the ability to assist in procedures, monitor patients, and manage clinical records. Key Highlights: 1. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a surgical environment **Outpatient Consultation and Triage** * **Appointment Management:** Coordinate patient flow, ensuring clinical records and diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging) are ready prior to medical evaluation. * **Anthropometry and Vital Signs:** Measure weight, height, BMI, blood pressure, and temperature, identifying abnormalities before entering the consultation room. * **Patient Education:** Provide guidance on home medication use, wound care, warning signs, and lifestyle modifications (especially for chronic or post-surgical patients). * **Assistance in Minor Procedures:** Support physicians during biopsies, suture removal, splint application, or injectable administration within the consultation area. **Updating Technical Requirements** * **Clinical Record Management:** Proficiency in digital health systems and current regulations governing sensitive information handling. * **Communication Skills:** Ability to translate medical terminology into language understandable by patients and their families. * **Preventive Medicine Knowledge:** Capacity to administer vaccination schedules and perform timely screening. 1\. Surgical Area (Perioperative) Scrub Nurse: Prepare kidney and mayo tables, assist the surgeon during intervention, and maintain strict counts of gauzes, sponges, and instruments. Circulating Nurse: Verify electromedical equipment, prepare the patient on the operating table, manage supply logistics, and record surgical times. Asepsis: Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and proper handling of biological-infectious hazardous waste (BIHW). 2\. General Nursing and Postoperative Care Monitoring: Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic status in the post-anesthesia recovery unit (PARU). Medication Administration: Administer medications via various routes, strictly adhering to the "Ten Rights". Direct Care: Perform surgical wound dressings, manage drains, catheters, and urinary catheters. Documentation: Complete nursing notes with accurate and timely clinical records. Candidate Profile (Requirements) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (degree and professional license mandatory). Specialization: Postgraduate training or specialization in Surgical Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in critical care or operating room settings. Technical Knowledge: Advanced surgical instrument handling. Knowledge of official health regulations (e.g., NOM-016 and NOM-004 on clinical records). Cardiopulmonary resuscitation protocols (BLS/ACLS). Soft Skills Working Under Pressure: Ability to respond rapidly to emergencies in the operating room. Attention to Detail: Rigor in material counting and symptom observation. Ethics and Empathy: Human and professional conduct toward both patients and the multidisciplinary team. Working Conditions Availability: Rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, or night) and on-call duties as required by service needs.
