We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll Manager – Construction Job Objective Ensure accurate administration and execution of payroll processes for operational, administrative, and field personnel, guaranteeing compliance with labor, tax, and social security obligations, as well as optimizing payroll-related compensation processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in payroll, including at least 3 years in managerial positions. Essential experience in companies operating in the Construction, Infrastructure, Engineering, Mining, or Construction Project sectors. Experience managing high-volume payrolls (over 1,000 employees). In-depth knowledge of: Federal Labor Law. IMSS, INFONAVIT, and Fonacot regulations. Income Tax (ISR) and payroll-related tax obligations. SUA, IDSE, and payroll systems. Labor and tax audits. Experience coordinating work teams. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end operation of the payroll department. Ensure accurate and timely calculation of weekly, biweekly, and special payrolls. Supervise payroll incidents, affiliation movements, and employee payments. Ensure compliance with obligations toward IMSS, INFONAVIT, Fonacot, and tax authorities. Coordinate monthly payroll closings and related accounting reconciliations. Manage internal and external audits. Implement process improvements and automation. Generate KPIs, executive reports, and labor cost analyses. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide support to Human Resources and Finance departments. Competencies Leadership.
