We are committed to individual development and initiative.* *For more information about us and our business, please visit digitalvirgo.com* **Job Description** We are seeking a **Junior Accountant** to join the **Finance Department**, providing support in accounting processes, transaction recording, reconciliations, and monthly financial closing activities, ensuring accurate control over financial information. ✅ **What Will Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Be?** * Record accounting journal entries (revenues, expenses, general ledger, and bank accounts). * Perform accounting reconciliations and review balance sheet accounts. * Support the monthly and annual financial closing process. * Review, enter, and issue invoices in compliance with tax requirements (CFDI). * Manage and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Assist in preparing preliminary financial statements. * Maintain up-to-date accounting files and supporting documentation. * Support preparation of informative tax filings and tax obligations. * Assist with internal and external audits when required. * Comply with financial policies and internal controls. * Prepare and submit reports required by government agencies and statistical bodies, such as INEGI and RNIE, ensuring adherence to prescribed formats, deadlines, and guidelines. * This position includes performing various administrative tasks supporting the operational functioning of the department and providing assistance to other departments as needed. **Requirements** **What Are We Looking For?** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (degree completed). * 1–3 years of experience in accounting roles; experience in multinational companies or Big4 firms is preferred. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF); knowledge of IFRS is a plus. * Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, basic functions). * Experience with Aspel; familiarity with additional ERP systems is desirable. * Tax knowledge: ISR, IVA, DIOT, annual corporate tax return, tax audit opinion, ISSIF, DIM, and other applicable informative obligations, as well as experience using tax software to fulfill these obligations, staying updated on tax reforms and regulatory changes. **Additional Information** **What Do We Offer?** * A positive work environment. * The opportunity to be part of a team where your voice is heard and where you can contribute new ideas. * Professional growth. * Competitive compensation. * Social benefits. * Job stability. * As part of the selection process, a technical assessment will be conducted to evaluate accounting and tax knowledge, as well as proficiency in tools such as Excel and accounting systems. **Join Our Team!
