Respectful treatment of customers and service orientation **JOB PROFILE: Tire Installation Technician (Motorcycles)** **Purpose of the Position** Install, dismount, and balance motorcycle tires, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service for customers. **2. Main Responsibilities** * Install and dismount motorcycle tires using appropriate equipment. * Perform wheel balancing and basic alignment. * Inspect tire and rim condition; identify damage, wear, or hazards. * Assist in diagnosing tire-related issues (vibrations, air leaks, damaged valves, incorrect pressure). * Keep the work area clean and organized. * Provide friendly and clear customer service, explaining services performed or usage recommendations. * Follow company safety guidelines and procedures. * Maintain and perform basic upkeep of equipment and tools. * Record services performed. **3. Job RequirementsEducation** * Completed junior high school (minimum). * Preferred: Technical course or training related to motorcycle mechanics. **Experience** * 1 year of experience as a tire installer, mechanical technician, or mechanic assistant. * Basic experience operating tire changers, balancers, or hand tools (preferred). **Technical Knowledge** * Types of motorcycle tires and specifications. * Operation of tire changers, balancers, and air compressors. * Reading tire size markings, load indices, and speed ratings. * Identification of wear, punctures, and common issues. * Safety practices for handling tires and air pressure. **4. Skills and Competencies** * Attention to detail. * Working under safety protocols. * Organization and cleanliness. * Honesty and responsibility. * Respectful treatment of customers. * Ability to work under pressure (high demand). * Service orientation.
