Our laboratory and equipment hold accreditations and approvals required by the **Mexican Accreditation Entity (EMA)** and the **National Center of Metrology (CENAM)**, as stipulated by the Ministry of Economy through the General Directorate of Standards (DGN). **Job Summary:** We are seeking a Metrology Technical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate shall hold a technical degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline. **Job Objective:** Provide support in performing calibrations and maintenance of measuring instruments, ensuring equipment accuracy and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, through proper recording of results, adherence to technical procedures, and collaboration with the quality department to guarantee measurement reliability. **Responsibilities:** * Assist in performing calibrations of measuring instruments according to established procedures. * Support documentation and maintenance of accurate calibration and measurement result records. * Assist in ensuring all measuring equipment complies with quality and accuracy standards. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on measuring equipment. * Assist in internal and external audits of the calibration laboratory. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. **Requirements:** * Technical degree in mechanical, industrial, or related field. * Basic knowledge of metrology fundamentals (preferred). * Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and its application in a laboratory environment. * Basic experience operating a calibration laboratory. * Ability to operate measuring equipment and tools with precision. * Capability to interpret and follow technical procedures and manuals. * Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team. * Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. **Desired Competencies:** * Proactivity and ability to work autonomously. * Flexibility and adaptability to learn new technologies and methods. * Commitment to quality and continuous improvement. **We Offer:** **Work Modality:** On-site, with travel to various states across the Mexican Republic. **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; Saturdays, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (subject to workload). **Salary:** $10,500 MXN monthly net. **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term, full-time. **Location:** Lago Constanza Street No. 29, Peralitos Neighborhood, Miguel Hidalgo Borough, ZIP Code 11450, CDMX. **Application Instructions:** · If you meet the requirements and are interested in joining our team, please proceed with your application.
