IT inventory setup and administration An important biotechnology startup is seeking a "Local IT Support" role for part-time work. 3 to 5 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration roles. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field. * Solid understanding of networking fundamentals. * Experience managing printers, peripherals, and basic server hardware. * Proficiency with tools such as Jira Service Management, Freshdesk, Zendesk, or similar. * Basic knowledge of Active Directory or Google Workspace. * Familiarity with remote assistance tools. * Conversational English. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Provide initial technical assistance to local employees (hardware, software, and connectivity). * Troubleshoot issues with workstations, laptops, peripherals, and printers. * Perform maintenance and resolve faults in the local network (switches, access points, and cabling). * Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and resolve connectivity outages. * Assist in VPN configuration and Wi\-Fi network management. * Configure and install workstations and devices for new employees. * Administer IT inventory (laptops, monitors, printers, and networking equipment). * Coordinate hardware repairs, replacements, and relationships with local vendors. * Review, prioritize, and resolve internal technical support tickets. * Assist in user account configuration, password resets, and access provisioning. **WORK LOCATION:** Providencia. **WORK HOURS:** Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
