TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Severance Assistant for the Finance/GBS department. The Sales Department focuses on generating revenue and increasing market share by identifying and fulfilling customer needs. This involves developing sales strategies, building customer relationships, presenting products or services, and closing commercial agreements to achieve sales goals and objectives. About You: You will be responsible for managing and tracking the recovery of accounts receivable from the U.S. market, ensuring accurate payment reconciliation, dispute resolution, and timely updates to customer information. This role ensures efficient collections through communication with customers, agencies, and internal teams, contributing to sound financial management and organizational cash flow. Your Day-to-Day: * Responsible for recovering overdue and upcoming accounts receivable from the U.S. market, applying effective negotiation methods. * Track pending payments, send reminders, and contact customers to manage overdue and upcoming balances. * Maintain ongoing communication with the Sales Department to review and track overdue balances per customer in the U.S. market. * Perform reconciliations with advertising agencies to identify scheduled payments and disputed invoices. * Track and resolve disputes in coordination with the Sales Department and customers. * Obtain payment confirmations directly from U.S. market customers. * Keep the customer portfolio’s database and contact information up to date. * Prepare and send account statements to advertising agencies and direct U.S. market customers. * Record collections in the company’s ERP system. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. * Interest in pursuing a career in accounting and collections. * Ability to organize, track, and control financial information. * Strong communication and negotiation skills with customers. * High sense of responsibility and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
