Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing the integrity of financial reports and the accuracy of the stock ledger (Kardex), improving accounting processes and ensuring compliance with policies. Collaborate on the preparation of the annual budget and variance analysis. **Job Description** ---------------------- Responsible for supervising and ensuring the integrity of financial reports, and guaranteeing the accuracy of the company's stock ledger (Kardex). Key Responsibilities: * Analyze and continuously improve accounting and financial processes, ensuring compliance with the company’s accounting and financial policies. * Implement and supervise internal controls to safeguard company assets. * Prepare, review, and ensure timely and accurate monthly financial statements. * Provide support in preparing financial reports for senior management and other stakeholders. * Collaborate on the preparation of the annual budget and variance analysis. * Ensure the quality and consistency of the stock ledger (Kardex) across all stores, analyzing inventory discrepancies and proposing corrective actions. * Generate periodic inventory reports for accounting, operations, and fraud prevention departments. * Implement improvements in inventory control processes. * Monitor internal and external audit processes. * Identify opportunities to improve profitability and challenge practices across various business units. Context: The Controller Manager will possess solid experience in accounting, auditing, internal control, inventory control, and budget control, and will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the integrity of financial reports, and guaranteeing the accuracy of the company's stock ledger (Kardex).**Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. * In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and financial principles. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Experience implementing and supervising internal controls. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP; SQL knowledge is desirable. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams. * Strong communication and leadership skills. **Selection Process** ------------------------ Join our team and become part of Falabella’s transformation: 1\.
