Key Responsibilities: * Operate the backhoe for excavation, trenching, and material handling. * Carry out loading, backfilling, and grading tasks per drawings and specifications. * Inspect the mechanical and operational condition of the equipment daily before use. * Promptly report malfunctions, damages, or maintenance needs. * Keep the machinery clean and in optimal operating condition. * Strictly comply with site safety protocols and guidelines. * Coordinate maneuvers with support staff and supervision. * Respect layout lines, elevations, depths, and alignments defined by the technical department. * Prevent damage to installations, utilities, materials, and personnel. * Assist in signage and demarcation of work areas. * Record relevant incidents during the work shift. * Optimize equipment usage to avoid rework and waste. * Meet scheduled timelines outlined in the construction program. * Report daily progress to the Site Supervisor or Resident Engineer. * Support general site activities related to the role as required.
