This includes supporting and guiding the banquet team, collaborating closely with all hotel departments, and ensuring successful, seamless events that deliver positive guest experiences. \- Responsible for coordinating and supervising hotel group/event operations to ensure contracted services are delivered timely and accurately per established quality and service standards, including post-event closure. Primary focus includes follow-up, operations, upselling, closure, and post-sale service for each confirmed group and/or event. \- Acts as the liaison between meeting planners and hotel staff. Responsibilities include managing the sales agreement, detailing all food, beverage, and A/V requirements, managing room blocks, collecting billing instructions, and conducting final reviews. Also serves as on-site contact and ensures smooth execution of all events. \- Ensure satisfaction of both internal and external customers; internal customers must be informed about services delivered and associated costs, while external customers must receive detailed, timely closures for immediate review. \- Enter the group’s deposit schedule into Envision under the Billing section per contract to facilitate tracking. \- Be familiar with the meeting room rates and group/event menus provided by the Sales Department and/or Sales Manager for Events. \- Follow up on pending payments for upcoming groups/events or extras from past events, and generate corresponding invoices. \- Verify that charges from outlets and other venues are correctly posted in the system per service orders, contracts, and joint verification with banquet captains prior to daily closing. \- Perform group and event account closings.
