**Position Purpose:** To operate, monitor, and control grinding area machinery, ensuring the proper transformation of raw materials into intermediate or final products according to established technical specifications, guaranteeing efficiency, quality, and safety in the production process. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Machine Operation** * Start up, adjust, and stop grinding equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures. * Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, dosage, etc.). * Perform formulation changes or machine adjustments according to production orders. * **Quality Control** * Take samples of ground product to verify fineness, homogeneity, and moisture content. * Record results in established forms and report deviations. * **Basic Maintenance** * Perform cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive inspections. * Promptly report any mechanical or electrical failures detected in the equipment. * **Safety and Hygiene Compliance** * Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). * Comply with industrial safety procedures and material handling guidelines. * Keep the work area clean and free of obstructions. * **Documentation and Control** * Record daily production, downtime, and waste in control forms. * Assist in inventory management of raw materials and work-in-progress. * **Teamwork** * Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse personnel. * Support other area tasks as needed. **Job Requirements:** * **Education:** High school diploma or technical secondary education. * **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year operating industrial machinery (preferably in grinding, cement, lime, or similar industries). * **Knowledge:** * Operation of grinding equipment (ball mills, hammer mills, or roller mills). * Process variable control and industrial safety standards. * Basic reading of production orders and technical instructions. * **Skills:** * Attention to detail. * Teamwork. * Responsibility and operational discipline. * Ability to follow procedures and report deviations.
