Opportunity to improve support and incident management processes ### **TECHNICAL SUPPORT – LEVEL 2** Systems Engineer with cloud experience #### **RESPONSIBILITIES** Responsible for delivering second-level technical support to our healthcare application customers. Must learn the architecture in which the application is deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and eventually on other clouds such as Azure and/or AWS. #### **Primary Responsibilities** * *Level 1 and Level 2 Support:* Provide first- and second-level technical support for incidents and issues related to the application and its services. * *Incident Management:* Log, classify, and resolve incidents; escalate issues; document procedures. * *Continuous Improvement:* Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of support processes. #### * **Requirements** * Experience administering resources in GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, etc.). * Knowledge of implementing and managing networks in GCP (VPC, subnets, firewalls) or experience with Azure. * *Basic Level:* Web Services and API handling * Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in production environments. * Knowledge of communication protocols and tools (HTTP, HTTPS, JSON, XML). * *Intermediate Level* operating systems based on Windows. * *Basic–Intermediate Level* network configuration and administration (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN). * *Basic Level* cloud security practices. #### **Education and Experience:** * University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * *Experience:* Minimum one year of experience in a similar cloud technical support role, preferably in GCP or Azure. ***Desirable*** * *Highly Valued:* Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Network Engineer, etc.) are highly valued.
