Conducts thorough inspections and maintains security Job Offer PENITENTIARY GUARDS Location: Hermosillo, Sonora Organization: State Coordination of the Penitentiary System Posted on May 13, 2026 Valid until June 1, 2026 Net Monthly Salary $11,793\.00 Apply Folio: 21134348 Description The Sonora Penitentiary System is dedicated to the custody and security of individuals deprived of liberty, and fundamentally to their social reintegration through education, vocational training, and job-skills programs, aiming to facilitate their reintegration into society and acquisition of economic resources—all within a framework of respect for human rights. It is currently seeking PENITENTIARY GUARDS to conduct thorough inspections of all vehicles entering and exiting the Reintegration Center; report incidents via radio to the team supervisor from the assigned surveillance post; perform physical and visual inspections of visitors, as well as authorized items and objects entering the Center; inspect and verify identification details of individuals exiting the CERESO; comply with established work schedules and shifts; carry out duties inherent to their area of responsibility and those assigned by their immediate superior; and demonstrate availability and commitment.
