SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Summary: Provides support for in-store operational floor activities, including sales, merchandise placement, and customer service, to achieve operational and commercial performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in achieving operational and commercial performance indicators. 2. Ensure proper merchandise placement and store presentation. 3. Provide excellent customer service and close sales. Support in-store operational floor activities by executing applicable operational processes related to sales, merchandise placement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in compliance with applicable placement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure accurate merchandise placement and optimal store presentation. * Deliver customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby providing excellent service reflected in point-of-sale sales closures; handle customer telephone calls to address questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in accordance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction completion. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
