Senior PLD/FT Compliance Analyst

Contribute to regulatory compliance in the area of AML/CFT through advanced alert analysis, comprehensive risk assessment, and timely management of regulatory reporting. Ensure the proper implementation of internal policies and procedures, provide technical support to the Compliance Officer and Committee, and promote an ethical culture within the organization. The position requires strong regulatory and analytical knowledge; holding an AML/CFT certification is highly valued as a key differentiator to strengthen compliance management. **Main Responsibilities** * Analyze and validate complex alerts for detecting unusual or suspicious transactions. * Supervise due diligence processes (KYC, KYB, EDD) and issue recommendations for decision-making. * Assess customer risk profiles and update institutional risk matrices. * Coordinate periodic reviews of restrictive lists (OFAC, UN, UIF, among others). * Prepare, review, and validate regulatory reports (ROS, REP, UIF notices), ensuring their quality and timeliness. * Follow up on internal, external audits and regulatory examinations. * Support the Compliance Officer in updating policies, manuals, and controls. * Deliver or coordinate training sessions on AML/CFT and corporate ethics. * Monitor compliance with key performance indicators and propose process improvements. **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Economics, International Relations or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 3 years in regulatory compliance, auditing, internal control or risk management. * **Certifications:** AML/CFT certification desirable (CNBV, CNFS, FATF or equivalent). Additional certifications in Compliance, Risk or Auditing will be considered a **plus**. * **Language:** Spanish / Intermediate-Advanced English (technical reading desirable). **Technical Skills** * In-depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and guidelines (CNBV, UIF, FATF, etc.). * Analysis and interpretation of risk and transactional matrices. * Advanced preparation of regulatory reports and supporting documentation. * Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data cross-checking). * Experience with screening tools (WorldCheck, Dow Jones, etc.). * Document management and audit support. **Key Competencies** * Analytical thinking and risk-oriented approach. * Ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to regulations. * Attention to detail and technical rigor. * Planning, organization, and deadline compliance. * Effective communication and technical writing. * Collaborative work and cross-functional influence.
