Veana — A Place for You! Join our team — we are looking for a BRANCH SUBMANAGER, where you can develop your potential and make a difference. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Periodically supervise computer equipment and verify proper operation, generating corresponding tickets for the Technology Department. Together with the Branch Manager, verify the branch’s condition upon opening (locks, damaged or forced shutters, etc.). Supervise cashiers’ use of the cash float. Launch branch-specific software applications (e.g., Mister Tienda, Email, Skype, etc.). Conduct cash register audits. Deposit collected funds. Verify and resolve negative balances in cash registers. Process requested sales cancellations. Issue consolidated invoices, credit notes, and forward them to Accounting. Send physical documents to respective departments. Complete the daily sales report file every day. Report branch opening and closing to the Monitoring Department. Supervise security guards’ proper bag checks of staff during branch closing. Review operational shrinkage records in the designated format and perform system adjustments; follow up on shipment to distribution centers per policy. Request transfers and process merchandise in/out entries in the system. Input MR Tienda download labels into the system. Verify merchandise downloads and report detected incidents (in-transit shrinkage, shortages, overages) to the relevant department. Supervise proper unpacking of products. Perform daily material resource adjustments and request internal consumption authorizations via email; execute adjustments once approved. Supervise merchandise arrangement for inventory purposes. Receive returns as part of after-sales service. Report malfunctioning or defective alarms, sensors, sirens, or panic buttons to the appropriate department. Report poor condition of signage on the sales floor and in the warehouse to the appropriate department. Supervise price label printing and correct placement on the sales floor. Supervise proper execution of POP materials and active promotions. Report personnel-related incidents to Human Talent areas. Verify proper status and usage of biometric equipment (schedules, attendance incidents, vacations, etc.). Design shift and break schedules (shift rotation). Supervise and provide feedback on proper cashier operations. Ensure newly hired staff attend scheduled training sessions. Submit administrative minutes or advisory reports to Human Talent. Maintain updated productivity boards and folders for the Comprehensive Productivity Program. Manage taxi vouchers for staff during nighttime unloading. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Sunday (one weekday off) Rotating weekly schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM REQUIREMENTS: Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Business Management, or related field. 3 years of experience in similar roles within the retail industry. Experience analyzing and interpreting sales and product KPIs. Knowledge of cash register audits, fund handling, administrative and accounting processes, invoicing, and bank terminal usage. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and warehouse administration. Intermediate Excel proficiency. People management experience (minimum of 10 team members). Resident of Puebla, Puebla; work location: CAPU. Flexible availability to accommodate rotating shifts. WHAT WE OFFER: Starting base salary: $11,130; increases to $13,350 after 6 months.
