Position Summary: Ensure the quality, accuracy, and coherence of informational content for radio and digital platforms, aligning it with the media outlet’s editorial line. Key Responsibilities: 1. Review and validate news reports, ensuring quality and coherence. 2. Collaborate with reporters to improve news pieces. 3. Make quick decisions under information-related pressure. **Position Objective** Ensure the quality, accuracy, clarity, and coherence of informational content prior to dissemination, guaranteeing alignment with the media outlet’s editorial line and optimizing its impact on radio and digital platforms. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Review, correct, and validate news reports (writing, spelling, style). * Adjust headlines and angles to ensure clarity, appeal, and precision. * Verify facts, sources, and contextual information. * Ensure narrative coherence and content quality. * Information quality control: guarantee adherence to ethical and journalistic standards. * Validate that content aligns with the editorial line. * Collaborate with reporters and content creators to improve news pieces. * Define informational angles jointly with the Information Content Strategist and Digital Platforms team. * Prioritize content based on relevance and current events. * Support the development of news schedules. * Supervise short and long versions of information. * Validate content prior to publication on digital platforms. * Edit content during breaking news situations. * Make quick decisions under information-related pressure. * Coordinate last-minute content adjustments. **Candidate Profile** **Academic Background:** * Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, or related field. * Specialization in journalism or digital media is desirable. **Experience:** * 3–5 years of experience in writing and editing informational content. * Experience in media outlets (radio, print, or digital). * Demonstrable experience in editorial review. * Experience in political or social coverage is desirable. **Technical Knowledge:** * Journalistic writing and editing * Spelling and style * Information verification (fact\-checking) * Basic SEO * Informational storytelling * Digital platforms and social media **Skills and Competencies:** * Critical thinking * Attention to detail * Decision-making under pressure * Professional ethics * Effective communication * Organization * Editorial judgment **Position Conditions** * Flexible working hours (including weekends and special coverage). * Work under pressure and in real time. * Salary range: 14,000–18,000 MXN, depending on experience.
