General Accountant

We are seeking a proactive, organized, and highly responsible General Accountant to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial health, ensuring compliance with tax obligations, and providing key information for strategic decision-making. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Accounting records:** Recording and validation of revenue, expense, and journal entries. * **Bank reconciliations:** Monthly review of accounts and deposits. * **Tax calculations:** Preparation and filing of monthly and annual tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, withholdings). * **Financial statements:** Preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and financial reports for management. * **Payroll and social security:** Issuing payroll receipts and reporting transactions to IMSS/INFONAVIT. * **Tax compliance:** Maintaining a positive tax compliance opinion and responding to authority requests (SAT). **Requirements and Desired Profile:** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting (licensed with Professional License preferred). * **Technical knowledge:** * Familiarity with current tax laws and Financial Information Standards (NIF). * Proficiency with SAT platforms and banking portals. * Experience with accounting systems (e.g., CONTPAQi, COI, SAP, or the system used at your company). * Intermediate or advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas). * **Soft skills:** Attention to detail, analytical ability, integrity, and excellent organizational skills.
