Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of subcontracted laboratory services, from accreditation to result management and customer service. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure technical competence and accreditation of subcontracted laboratories. 2. Monitor the performance of external suppliers and guarantee quality. 3. Coordinate the logistics of sample shipment and ensure their traceability. Verify that the subcontracted laboratory holds relevant accreditations to ensure technical competence. Monitor the performance of external suppliers using compliance and quality indicators (KPIs). Maintain an updated list of tests sent externally, including sample collection requirements and stability conditions. Ensure that sample packaging, transportation, and cold chain comply with the receiving laboratory’s requirements to prevent rejection. Coordinate shipment logistics and ensure traceability from branch receipt to delivery at the reference laboratory. Review received results to confirm inclusion of all required information: methodology, reference values, and signatures of healthcare personnel. Establish immediate communication channels for reporting critical results that may jeopardize patient life. Document and manage complaints or deviations related to subcontracted services (delays, lost samples, erroneous results). Identify critical points in the subcontracting process that may affect customer satisfaction or patient safety. Safeguard original reports from external laboratories as evidence of compliance for audits. Visit physicians and other companies to promote company services. Enter study data and pricing into the SIL system.
