We are seeking **an Air Conditioning Assistant** at **Grand Palladium Riviera Maya.** **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment (cold rooms, cold tables, chillers, mini-splits, fan & coil units, etc.). * Perform cleaning and washing of evaporators, condensers, cold plates, and other components. * Monitor and control temperature, humidity, and pressure of systems using specific devices. * Calibrate and evaluate the operation of thermostats, hygrostats, and pressure regulators. * Supervise the condition of compressors (centrifugal and rotary), electric motors, turbines, radiators, dampers, and other components of air handling units. * Follow up on tasks assigned by technicians or management, and maintain a daily log of completed work and pending items. * Carry out system startup, shutdown, and verification rounds in areas such as restaurants, buffets, and cold rooms. * Assist with bulb replacements, painting, and general equipment cleaning. * Immediately report any anomalies in system operation. * Verify proper operation of refrigerated storage rooms, preservation rooms, freezing rooms, cold cabinets, horizontal cold tables, cold plates, air conditioning systems including mini-splits, windows, fan & coil units, chillers, etc. * Verify proper operation of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. **In exchange for your commitment and motivation, we offer:** * Real opportunities for professional development within an internationally expanding company. * An excellent working environment. * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements. * Continuous training and enriching learning experiences. **Requirements:** --------------- **Education:** * Secondary school or general high school diploma. * Technical qualification in refrigeration. * Specialization in industrial refrigeration. **Experience and technical knowledge:** * 1 year of experience as an air conditioning technician assistant. * Knowledge of industrial refrigeration; electronics; electromechanics and electricity; mechanical and electrical components required to operate a refrigeration system; refrigeration generation systems; methods for air conditioning control.
