Note: This position supports the project site by coordinating teams, tools, and installation resources to ensure teams have what they need to perform their work efficiently. The role involves planning, tracking equipment usage and availability, maintaining accurate inventory records, and providing operational support through both administrative coordination and direct support at the production plant. This position does not include shipping/receiving, supply chain logistics, IT, software development, Agile/Scrum, or technical engineering design. Openings: 2 positions available (1 in Austin, Texas and 1 at the project location) Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate the allocation of installation tools and equipment for each project. Collaborate with project managers to identify the tools, machinery, and installation equipment required for each project. Coordinate and track the movement of machinery. Manage all incoming and outgoing machinery activities—including forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, etc.—ensuring smooth and timely operations. Supervise access for external service personnel. Coordinate entry for external drivers and technicians responsible for machinery repairs, ensuring compliance with site protocols. Tool cart management. Organize, deliver, and receive tool carts; conduct content audits; monitor tool usage to maintain operational efficiency. Machinery and tool inventory management. Maintain accurate inventory records through physical counts, discrepancy reconciliation, and supporting the tool warehouse as needed. Monitor machinery usage and condition. Track the location and operational status of all machinery, ensuring it remains in good working order and ready for use.- Supervise fuel levels and power generation equipment. Monitor the status of power generation systems and machinery fuel levels to prevent downtime and ensure operational continuity. Request and track equipment and materials required for installations. Manage procurement of materials, resources, and consumables necessary to carry out installation tasks. Coordinate procurements and shipments to various factories to ensure timely delivery and customer requirement compliance. Report inventory status to the Installation Manager and track the assignment of tool carts, equipment, and machinery to installers. Serve as the liaison between Project Managers or Construction Managers and external vendors. Facilitate communication and coordination to support the Installation Team in executing mechanical or electrical assembly operations. Support the Installation Planner in developing installation schedules, human resource plans, and other management tasks within the Installation Department. Note: This position does not include IT, software development, Agile/Scrum methodologies, or technical engineering design. Requirements and Skills Degree in Engineering, related field, or equivalent. Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required. 3–4 years of experience in construction logistics, administrative support, project coordination, or a similar operational or engineering support role is preferred.
