We are looking for a Project Technician to join our maintenance team. Headquartered in Tetla – Mexico. Main responsibilities:* Verify the characteristics of the parts that are requested from equipment and service providers, mainly mechanical spare parts. * Dimensional survey in mechanical parts machine area. * Create models, designs, and graphics using CAD software * Keep accurate records of charts. * Track manufacturing requests. * Keep track of spare parts and ancillary materials. * Review of maintenance logs and collect reported needs, as well as the generation of drawings. * Development of replacement packages for mechanical elements for preventive maintenance teams. * Survey and generation of concept catalogue for infrastructure works. * Daily monitoring and supervision of the activities of projects carried out in the plant. * Development and execution of the infrastructure maintenance plan. * Comply with the integrated management policy, Quality, Health, Occupational Safety and Environment. * Comply with the requirements of the position established within the ISO 9001 \& TL 9000 systems and compliance with the ISO 14001 standard. * Actively participate in safety programs and execute according to established plan, in order to ensure the goal of zero accidents. * Lead with your colleagues in safety. * Interact positively with plant personnel to provide the materials requested by each of them. Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate should have the following skills:* Industrial Engineering / Electromechanics / Tec. Designer, like\-minded. * Previous experience as a Project Technician or in a similar position. * At least 3 years of experience in a similar position. * Excellent communication skills and maintain good external (suppliers) and internal (internal customers) relationships. * Demonstrable experience in the use of CAD software. * Knowledge in drawing and industrial design. * Interpretation of plans, mechanical, electrical, civil. * Knowledge in the preparation of civil, mechanical, and electrical works projects. * Knowledge in European \& American drawing system. * AutoCAD 2nd dimension and 3rd dimension. * Handling of measuring tools, vernier, micrometer, etc. * Strategic thinking. * Teamwork and Collective Responsibility * Customer orientation. * Innovation \& Creativity * Availability and flexibility of schedule, derived from maintenance needs on holidays and weekends. * Actively explore and understand the needs of different departments. * Able to handle sensitive information. * Intermediate level of spoken and written English. * Office management, office management, CAD, required. *Prysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
