




Summary: Directs plant activities to achieve profitability goals, ensuring production quality and volume while implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement. Interface with division's leadership team and evaluate policies * **Specific Responsibilities:** * Is responsible for the activities assigned to him in the absence of the Plant Manager. + Ensures that profitability goals are consistently achieved or exceeded. + Directs the focus of the plant in producing the desired volume and quality of products according + to planning schedules and engineering specifications. + Directs production, inventory control and purchase requisitions. Coordinate production quality + of products according to documented specifications. + Provides feedback to the budget development process assigned to the Manufacturing area. + Provides technical assistance to sales personnel and other HFS manufacturing operations. + Analyzes and directs the preparation of capital appropriation requirements to secure the equipment. + Analyzes manufacturing operations and ensures a lean manufacturing environment, continuous improvement and teamwork. + It interfaces with the division's leadership team and evaluates policies and programs. + Demonstrates knowledge and commitment to ABS manufacturing principles and techniques + Performs other duties as requested. + Promote the use and use of ABS tools established in their work areas (Maintenance + Autonomous, Order and Cleaning, Help Chain, among others). + Contribute to Continuous Improvement through the suggestion and / or implementation of improvements in your area. + Comply with the quality policy by complying with daily activities that directly or indirectly impact the provision of the product or service. * **Experience:** 2to 5 years of experience in manufacturing activities in leadership role * **Education:** Engineering, Business Administration preferably. * **Knowledge:** Knowledge of lean manufacturing systems + Knowledge of English language in 70% spoken and written preferably. + Knowledge of computer programs related to your area: Ms Office, Autocad (basic), ACCESS, Oracle, Lotus Notes, QAD System preferably. * **Authority:** Authority to retain processes that jeopardize compliance with any of the policies and company or government procedures. Disciplinary authority over personnel directly or indirectly in charge. Payroll authority (hours worked).
