**SLITTER OPERATOR** **Job Objective.** Operate the slitter production line accurately to ensure proper execution of tasks, as well as carry out necessary safety procedures for optimal performance. **Key Roles and Responsibilities** * Monitor work orders. * Responsible for executing the correct process for product manufacturing and delivery. * Maintain order and cleanliness of plant machinery. * Ensure proper use and operation of equipment under supervision. * Verify final product quality; report any anomalies to the Operations Coordinator. * Identify and report requirements for materials and work equipment. * Report production equipment failures. * Jointly report with the Operations and Maintenance Coordinator necessary corrective repairs for plant equipment. * Perform any other related duties assigned. * Minimum two years’ experience assembling and operating slitter lines. * Knowledge of operating overhead cranes. * Familiarity with galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and painted steel. * Knowledge of steel thicknesses. * Proficiency in using tape measures, micrometers, and Vernier calipers. * Be responsible on the job. * Adhere to slitter line procedures. **Requirements:** High school education Three to five years’ experience operating slitters Employment type: Full-time Salary: $15,000.00 – $17,000.00 per month Benefits: * Major medical expense insurance * Life insurance * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers Work location: On-site employment
