Job Purpose** To manage the company’s general and tax accounting, ensuring compliance with obligations before tax authorities and social security institutions, as well as accurate payroll processing and benefit calculations, thereby supporting Seiatsu Mexico’s efficient operations and regulatory compliance. **5. Key Responsibilities** **Accounting and Tax Compliance** * Record and classify accounting transactions. * Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Prepare and file tax returns with the **SAT** (federal taxes) in accordance with applicable deadlines and regulations. * Maintain up-to-date accounting records, ledgers, and journal entries. * Coordinate and support internal/external audits where applicable. **Compliance with Authorities (SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, REPSE, Subcontracting System)** * Prepare and submit required information to the **SAT**, **IMSS**, **INFONAVIT**, and other regulatory bodies. * Identify and comply with subcontracting obligations (SISE, REPSE, or other labor registration requirements). * Prepare and submit labor/tax compliance reports in accordance with applicable legislation. **Payroll and Benefits** * Determine and calculate periodic payroll (ISR, IMSS, INFONAVIT, PTU where applicable). * Calculate ISR withholdings and social security contributions in compliance with legal requirements. * Generate payroll digital stamps (timbrado) and ensure compliance with tax provisions on the SAT portal. * Monitor and reconcile payroll payments, electronic transfers, and employer contributions. * Compute integrated daily wages for IMSS/INFONAVIT contribution purposes. * Prepare severance or termination settlement calculations per the Federal Labor Law (LFT) and current regulations. **Reporting and Planning** * Prepare periodic reports for financial management. * Support tax planning and financial forecasting. **6. Requirements** **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional degree preferred). * Accounting/tax certifications are a plus. **Experience** * Minimum 2–4 years of experience in general accounting, tax accounting, and payroll administration (experience in mid-sized companies or the industrial sector is preferred). **Technical Knowledge** * Tax and labor legislation (SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT). * Payroll calculation and compliance with social obligations. * Registration and compliance under SISE/REPSE or other subcontracting requirements. * Accounting systems (Aspel COI, CONTPAQi, SAP, or others). * Intermediate/advanced Excel proficiency. **Skills** * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Task organization and prioritization with adherence to deadlines. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Professional ethics and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. **7. Working Conditions** * **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; Saturdays, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (full-time schedule, with possible overtime during tax or payroll closing periods). * **Location:** Guadalajara, Jalisco. **8. Performance Indicators** * Timely delivery of accounting reports and tax filings. * Compliance with obligations before SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and other agencies without penalties. * Accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing and related calculations. * Quality and timeliness of accounting and bank reconciliations.
