**Position: Customs Classifier** **Location:** Manzanillo, Colima Job Objective: Ensure the accurate determination of tariff fractions in accordance with current legislation, guaranteeing regulatory compliance in customs operations and the proper application of non-tariff regulations and restrictions. Provide specialized technical support to internal and external clients, contributing to operational efficiency and the minimization of legal risks. **Profile Requirements:** **Education:** * Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Customs, International Business, or related field. **Availability:** * Willingness to travel according to operational needs (when required). **Desirable Certifications:** * Certification in the Technical Standard of Labor Competence as a Customs Classifier (CONOCER). **Specific Experience and Knowledge:** * Comprehensive knowledge of the General Law on Import and Export Taxes (LIGIE) and its updates. * Solid knowledge of applied merchandise classification. * Extensive familiarity with non-tariff regulations and restrictions (NTRRs). * Practical knowledge of supplementary laws related to foreign trade. * Analysis and application of countervailing duties. * Ability to correctly interpret and apply current regulations regarding customs classification. * Analytical skills, results-oriented, and conflict resolution ability. * Effective communication with internal and external clients. **Experience:** * Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the area of Customs Classification. * At least 3 years performing specific duties in the role of Customs Classifier.
