Coordinates, administers, and delivers employee health and wellness programs. Manages initial medical care, medical examinations, and health education. Assesses internal client needs, tracks issues for patterns, resolves employee questions or concerns, implements and supports total health initiatives. Manages vendor relationships and negotiates contracts. Ensures compliance with governmental and corporate requirements. Demonstrates understanding of other employee health/safety functions. This position requires an RN degree. Learns to apply professional concepts, basic principles, and theories. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures. Typically receives detailed instructions on most tasks. Generally requires a degree and little or no prior professional experience. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Provide nursing and first-aid services to employees involved in minor safety incidents within the Company. * Conduct admission medical examinations for new hires. * Perform monitoring examinations. * Maintain records of employees receiving medical care. * Prepare incident reports such as charts highlighting trends in occupational health data. * Coordinate employee medical appointment schedules. * Conduct accident investigations and prepare corresponding documentation for government agencies such as IMSS and STPS. * Actively participate in health campaigns and promote employee awareness of preventive health practices. * Deliver courses and/or training focused on occupational health. * Conduct daily walkthroughs of production areas to identify risks threatening employee physical integrity. * Actively participate in Company brigades and committees (first aid, training, fire safety, etc.). * Conduct audits of the internal cafeteria processes. * Maintain inventory control of supplies required for Medical Services. * Plan and implement health program campaigns. * Maintain control of prenatal and lactation logbooks. * Manage suspected COVID\-19 cases, notify relevant parties, and follow up accordingly. * Conduct Safety and Hygiene Committee walkthroughs. * Coordinate collection of RPBI and associated documentation. * Record and track medical leaves. **General Skills / Competencies / Specialized Knowledge** * Technical or professional degree in Nursing. * Basic English (understanding of simple instructions). * 2\-3 years performing similar duties, preferably in the maquiladora industry. * Knowledge of non-controlled drugs, CPR, management of patients experiencing epileptic seizures, completion of IMSS/STPS documents, emergency medical response, identification of unsafe conditions and acts. **Authorities:** * Issue medical release permits for general illness and for visits to IMSS. * Prescribe medication and provide physical therapy to patients. * Halt production processes posing health risks to personnel. * Conduct interviews with personnel involved in an incident or as part of an investigation. * Conduct random audits of the cafeteria area and halt operations if necessary. **EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY** Enovis provides equal employment opportunities based on merit, experience, and other work\-related criteria without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
