Cross-functional collaboration with production and quality teams **POSITION OBJECTIVE:** Contribute to the improvement of productivity, quality, and efficiency indicators by implementing adjustments and improvements in products and processes, in accordance with Engineering’s established guidelines. Actively participate in continuous improvement projects, failure analysis, technical documentation, and support for change validation, ensuring compliance with internal standards, applicable regulations, and established timelines. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as production, quality, safety, and maintenance to ensure proper execution and tracking of implemented actions. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Identify improvement opportunities, perform modifications, conduct tests, and validate improvements in existing processes, in accordance with the work plan established by the Engineering department. * Design and build improvement equipment and fixtures to support the development of new models and optimization of existing products. * Create and/or update visual aids to facilitate standardized operations in production areas, ensuring clarity, functionality, and alignment with established processes. * Analyze, modify, test, and resolve customer complaints and technical requirements requested by the Engineering department, ensuring timely and effective responses. * Build prototypes according to technical specifications provided by the Design Engineering department, ensuring accuracy and functionality for validation. * Support Production during Process Validation (PV) startups, ensuring adherence to established parameters and correct execution of procedures. * Actively participate in reviews of pre-validation of processes, as well as product improvement initiatives and technical documentation, ensuring their proper application across various processes. * Collaborate with the Engineering team in developing, updating, and controlling documentation related to product and process changes. * Actively collaborate in safety, quality, 5S, error-proofing (poka-yoke), and other initiatives focused on continuous improvement and compliance with operational standards. **NOTE:** *This is not an exhaustive list of all position responsibilities. Additional duties may be assigned as required by business needs.* **MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:** **EDUCATION** Completed or ongoing university degree in Engineering or related field, with no more than one year remaining to completion. **EXPERIENCE** Minimum basic experience of 6 months in manufacturing processes, either in direct operations or through professional internships. Experience in Engineering areas related to continuous improvement, use and application of engineering tools, use and application of measurement equipment, technical skill in reading drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. Ability to identify improvement opportunities in processes and detect failure modes during product analysis. **KNOWLEDGE** Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD (desirable). Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, and electronics (desirable). **CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES** N/A **WORK COMPETENCIES** Teamwork, Initiative, Adaptability, Customer Focus, Results Orientation, Communication, Leadership. **LANGUAGE SKILL** Basic English (desirable). **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT** Occasionally requires employee to sit and work with computer equipment.
