




Position Summary: Air Cargo Security Analyst responsible for preventing theft and fires, verifying compliance with AVSEC procedures, and coordinating access to restricted areas. Training in cargo handling and ability to organize personnel. **AIR CARGO SECURITY ANALYST MATRIX** **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Conduct facility patrols to prevent and detect theft, fires, unauthorized personnel, acts of unlawful interference, misuse of facilities in general, and to verify that deterrent signage is complete and visible, and that all persons within restricted security areas wear their identification visibly. * Perform cargo inspection using X-ray equipment based on AVSEC procedures. * Verify compliance with and adherence to established AVSEC (Aviation Security) procedures outlined in the Secure Cargo Operator Manual (SCOM). * Verify compliance with security directives to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate provision of private security services by the service provider. * Control and coordinate access to restricted areas for employees, visitors, and/or suppliers. * Verify proper use of operational equipment, materials, and/or tools, as well as their timely supply and replenishment. * Address various control, tracking, and registration requirements for movements at control checkpoints. * Verify shift activity information in checklists for checkpoints and in the Incident Logbook. * Analyze performance indicator statistics to implement necessary actions to achieve targets. * Coordinate with Operations Management regarding schedules, activities, customer needs, and analysis of improvements and changes to streamline procedures. * Facilitate, control, and safeguard documents and information within the area. * Follow up on investigations related to asset security and AVSEC (Aviation Security). * Coordinate operations with Operations Supervisors. **EDUCATION:** * Completed high school; preferably with courses related to international trade, logistics, airports, air cargo, Bachelor’s in Criminalistics, or similar. **KNOWLEDGE:** * Knowledge of warehouse operations and security (cargo, facilities, protocols, etc.) * Proficiency in Word, Excel, and software applications. * Ability to organize personnel. **EXPERIENCE:** * Access control to restricted areas * Verification of air cargo security conditions * Security conditions across various company areas **REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:** * Organizational and planning skills. * Training in cargo handling. * Ability to work effectively in a team. **WORK LOCATION:** Hangar, Warehouse, Tijuana International Airport, B.C. **IMPORTANT:** Must be available to work Monday through Saturday (day shift) Employment type: Full-time Salary: Up to $16,400.00 per month Benefits: * Free parking * Free uniforms Application question(s): * Can you commute to the airport (worksite) without difficulty?
