Position: SHF Appraisal Controller Tijuana / Work Mode: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time We are a specialized valuation and consulting firm focused on ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and technical accuracy in appraisals for the financial sector. Job Objective: Supervise, validate, and control the proper preparation of appraisals in accordance with guidelines issued by the **Sociedad Hipotecaria Federal (SHF)**, ensuring technical quality, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery. Responsibilities: * Review appraisals (real estate and/or machinery) in accordance with SHF regulations * Validate methodologies, calculations, and supporting documentation * Identify technical and regulatory inconsistencies * Coordinate with appraisal experts and internal departments * Monitor delivery timelines and reporting status * Ensure compliance with audits and reviews Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in: * Engineering (industrial, civil, mechanical) * Architecture * Preferred: * Master’s degree or specialization in valuation (valid license mandatory) * Experience: * 2–5 years in appraisal control/review * Knowledge of SHF regulations (mandatory) * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency * High attention to detail and strong technical judgment We Offer: * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements, positive work environment.
