**Position Summary:** **Baja Rehab** is seeking a highly qualified **Bilingual Clinical Nurse (English and Spanish)** to join our multidisciplinary team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients within a structured residential environment. This includes medication administration, monitoring vital signs, assisting in medical assessments, and providing support throughout the detoxification and recovery process. The position requires close collaboration with the medical and psychiatric team to ensure safe, effective, and comprehensive care for each patient. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Patient Care and Monitoring:** Provide direct nursing care by assessing and monitoring patients' physical and emotional status. Report any significant changes to the medical and clinical team. * **Medication Administration:** Safely and accurately administer medications according to medical prescriptions and internal protocols. Maintain updated records and inventory control. * **Medical Support and Coordination:** Assist physicians and psychiatrists during evaluations, treatments, and emergencies. Ensure proper documentation of all medical procedures performed. * **Detoxification and Stabilization Support:** Provide compassionate care to patients undergoing detoxification, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to established medical protocols. * **Patient Education:** Educate patients about their treatment plan, proper medication use, hygiene, and healthy habits that support their recovery process. * **Clinical Records and Documentation:** Maintain complete and accurate nursing notes, vital signs tracking, incident reports, and progress updates within each patient’s medical record. * **Collaboration with Clinical and Psychiatric Team:** Work closely with psychologists, counselors, and psychiatrists to ensure integrated care. Participate in case meetings and contribute to treatment plan development. * **Infection Control and Safety:** Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control across all areas.
