English level B1 (able to communicate simply, read and write texts). * Proficiency with digital systems, ability to drive standard vehicles. * Minimum desirable experience of 1 year as a goods inspector or in customs clearance areas, receiving assistant, or inventory work in warehouses or manufacturing plants. * **Functions** * Receive and follow up on customer requests for goods inspections. * Travel to the location of the goods (internal warehouse or customer's facility). * Locate goods within the warehouse. * Perform physical inspection of containers and trailers when required. * Inspect packaging conditions and the state of the goods being reviewed. * Verify compliance with wood packaging standards NIMF 15 or Nom. 144\. * Inspect goods identified as raw materials, machinery or permanent equipment, and sensitive goods such as steel, aluminum, textiles, etc. * Send unclassified goods for tariff classification. * Send inspection results to customers identifying shortages, overages, or unclassified goods. * Enter data into required systems, verify invoices against information collected during goods inspection. * Request and verify changes, corrections, or modifications to final invoices. * Attend to customers regarding requests, doubts, comments, or questions about the status of the inspection. * Apply labels to goods requiring compliance with specific regulations or labeling standards. * Detect possible contamination of goods (agricultural, prohibited items, smuggling, etc.). * Inspect packages received from customers, report any security incidents related to shipments, goods, packages, drugs, weapons, persons, etc. * Receive training on topics related to job responsibilities and safety. * Participate in updating risk analyses and departmental procedures. * Remain alert to potential risks that may arise during job performance.
