




**Job Objective:** Execute the customer acquisition strategy by identifying, prospecting, and closing commercial opportunities, ensuring a steady flow of qualified projects into the Pipeline. 1\. Role Mission The BD is responsible for "breaking ground." Their primary focus is **demand generation and closure**. They must be an expert at identifying pain points in industrial plants and positioning FLUTE as the ideal technical solution, moving leads from initial contact to closure (>70% probability). 2\. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ● **Outbound Activity:** Number of effective contacts and technical visits per week. ● **SQL Generation (Sales Qualified Leads):** Technically validated opportunities entering the pipeline. ● **Conversion Rate (Win Rate):** Maintain the 25% closure standard on proposals submitted—a metric shared with Sales Engineers. ● **Pipeline Velocity:** Average time it takes for a lead to progress from prospecting to final negotiation. 3\. Main Responsibilities ● **Active Prospecting:** Intensive search for clients in target sectors (Medical, Automotive, Aerospace) using digital tools and fieldwork. ● **BANT Qualification:** Validate that the prospect has Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline (BANT) before engaging the Engineering team. ● **Solution Presentations:** Conduct the commercial "Kick Off" with the client, identifying needs in automation, machining, or supply (FEED\-X). ● **CRM Management:** Rigorous logging of every interaction across opportunity stages. ● **Closing Follow\-up:** Active negotiation of commercial terms and tracking of purchase orders (PO) to ensure achievement of the established target. ● **Event Attendance:** Participation in chambers of commerce events and/or regional or national industrial exhibitions and fairs. 4\. Candidate Profile (Requirements) A. Education and Experience ● **Education:** Incomplete or completed engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic) with commercial vocation, or a bachelor’s degree with extensive industrial sales experience; bilingual (English). ● **Experience:** 1–2 years of field B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial components, tools, or engineering services. ● **Technology:** Proficiency in CRM and digital prospecting tools. B. Technical Competencies (Hard Skills) ● **Transactional and Consultative Selling:** Ability to close quick sales (Distribution) and manage complex sales (Automation). ● **Plant Floor Knowledge:** Familiarity with automation, CNC, sensors, and pneumatics terminology. ● **Competitive Analysis:** Strong verbal fluency and ability to use commercial and technical language to handle objections.
