Job Description and Responsibilities Ensure the proper functioning of circuit boards and electronic equipment through timely diagnosis, repair, and maintenance, while ensuring traceability, technical documentation, and compliance with quality and production standards. * Diagnose electrical and electronic faults in printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic equipment using diagrams, schematics, and measurement tools. * Perform corrective and preventive repairs on electronic boards by replacing defective components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, integrated circuits, connectors, etc.) according to technical specifications. * Conduct functional and electrical tests after repair to verify proper product performance prior to release into production. * Prepare and maintain up-to-date records of diagnosis, repair, failure history, and traceability for each serviced equipment or board. * Properly use test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes (desirable), functional testers, and soldering tools. * Provide technical support to the production area and workshop, addressing recurring failures, line stoppages, and technical requirements related to electronic equipment. * Meet established timeframes for maintenance and repair activities, ensuring required output volume and prioritizing equipment critical to operations. * Identify recurring failure patterns and propose improvement actions to reduce rework, scrap, and downtime. * Apply safety, quality, and ESD standards during handling, repair, and testing of components and electronic equipment. * Support basic training of operational staff when required, sharing best practices for handling and detecting electronic failures. * Maintain order and control over assigned tools, spare parts, and workstations. Experience and Requirements **Education Level**: Technical degree and/or engineering. **Field and Years of Experience**: Minimum 1 year of experience in the field.
