Ecolab is seeking a **Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator** to join its industry-leading Nalco Water team. In this role, you will execute service plans on strategic district accounts, provide customer support for troubleshooting, and generate high levels of customer satisfaction. **What the position offers:** You will join a large, growing company offering a competitive base salary and excellent benefits You will enjoy a paid training program that allows you to learn from successful professionals You will have the opportunity for long-term professional growth in the service and sales field Access to the best resources, tools, and technology in your field Thrive in a company that values a safety culture, including top-tier safety training and personal protective equipment **What you will do:** Sample collection / physicochemical analysis Chemical product handling Cleaning of areas Product dosing (transferring to prepare products) Supervision and adjustment of dosing equipment Field visits for data collection Logbook filling / report preparation Activation and maintenance of dosing pumps Exchange and maintenance of accessories for these dosing pumps Navigation of automatic control software for equipment Maintenance of dosing lines Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Detect and report failures and/or product issues when found outside established ranges, efficiently troubleshoot, and offer cost-effective alternatives as needed Perform equipment inspections to monitor operating conditions and quality, issuing corresponding reports Participate in team meetings to improve customer service Document and communicate services delivered to the customer, providing clarity and value **Position Details:** Candidate must reside in: Tecate, Baja California or nearby locations Your service area includes: Tecate, Baja California Monday to Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (weekly rotating shifts, one day off) **Minimum Requirements:** Completed high school diploma; technical career in industrial maintenance, chemistry, environmental science, electricity, mechanics or related field; incomplete or completed degree in Chemical, Environmental, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field Basic experience in laboratory analysis, water treatment for boilers, cooling towers or wastewater treatment plants, industrial safety, or industrial technical service roles **Physical Requirements:** Must be able to lift/push/carry 20 kg Must be able to access and feel comfortable working under a variety of conditions (confined spaces, wet and/or dusty areas, freezing and hot conditions) Must be physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position, including lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, stretching, maintaining balance, etc. **Our Commitment to a Culture of Inclusion & Belonging** Ecolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of associates and applicants and furthering the principles of Equal Opportunity to Employment.
