Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the Bank’s current values, standards, policies, and internal procedures. **Responsibilities** * Foster a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage the Bank’s extensive network, systems, and expertise. * Develop SPID payment technology solutions, ensuring compliance with Scotiabank’s internal guidelines as well as regulations issued by Banco de México for interbank transfers. * Serve as a business rules specialist for interbank transfer system functionality, maintaining deep knowledge of relevant products and systems to provide broad insight for guiding, designing, and implementing solutions. * Address industry-wide testing requests from BANXICO to ensure system availability, response speed, connectivity, and other requirements. * Execute approved development requirements—validated via Business Case and various Technology Committees—by delivering corresponding work plans to address such requirements. * Conduct unit testing of developed code, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery aligned with requirements, prior to submitting code for quality assurance (QA) testing and subsequent production deployment. * Monitor progress of testing performed on delivered development by the QA team responsible for validating code quality, providing support and addressing reported findings to ensure functional compliance with requirements. * Provide support and assistance during the warranty period for development deployed in the production environment to address operational incidents. * Support assigned platforms to safeguard production operations. * Understand the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must be considered in daily activities and decisions. * Actively carry out effective and efficient operations within respective areas while ensuring suitability, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls to fulfill obligations aimed at mitigating operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk—including those responsibilities explicitly defined. **Education / Experience** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. 3 years of Java development experience with monolithic architecture, microservices, microfrontends, CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability remediation, Spring Framework, Cloud, and containers. 3 years of SQL experience with Oracle / Sybase / Db2 / MySQL databases. 2 years of experience with AIX and Linux systems and shell scripting. 2 years of experience with application servers such as WebLogic, WAS, JBoss, and Tomcat. 2 years of experience in the financial sector; preferably 1 year in payment systems, with knowledge of SPID payment business rules.
