Job Summary: This role utilizes computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts for prostheses, including setup and operation of CNC machines, and supporting the manufacturing of metal parts. Key Highlights: 1. Production of high-precision parts for prostheses. 2. Setup and operation of CNC machines (lathe and machining center). 3. Support in manufacturing parts from various metals. Description and details of responsibilities: Use computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts used in Össur prostheses. Ability to operate one or multiple machines simultaneously, as well as set up cutting tool machines, programs, and complete part production. * Performs CNC machine setup (lathe and machining center). * Supports manufacturing of parts from various metals. * Audits area operations and processes. * Implements training for area personnel (machining operators). * Tracks production orders. * Supports departmental projects and initiatives as required. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Responsible for adhering to company safety regulations and reporting accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions or acts. Responsible for complying with the Federal Labor Law and Internal Work Regulations. * Adheres to company values: honesty, moderation, and courage. Experience and Requirements: * Minimum 2 years of experience in this position. * Excellent attitude and willingness to work in a team. * Interpretation of engineering drawings. * Computer proficiency: intermediate level. * Basic CNC machine programming. * 5-axis machines are mandatory. * Proficiency with various measuring instruments. * Communication skills.
