Description and details of activities Structural Steel Project Manager Required Experience: Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with senior management. Review contracts and job specifications. Generate and review checklist with estimator. Strong communications skills. Be able to work in fast paced environment \& multi\-task. Additional Responsibilities: Share delivery sequence with detailer. Compare pricing \& release detailer with tentative schedule. Check for long lead time items \& order. Contact customer \& review schedule/ sequence of install or delivery. Generate RFI and project log \& enter into sharefile for team to access. Generate schedule of values \& verify date to submit billing. Submit Weld procedures \& Coating spec's for approval. Work with field foreman to verify dimensions on all install items. Receive and Transmit Drawings (IFA, BFA, IFC). Review and correct drawings as needed to meet customer and code requirements. Release drawings for production and/or installation. Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance company’s ability to procure projects. Review weekly project status reports, project billings, and provide information as required. Review preliminary schedule and the detailed project schedule when available. Monitor project activities, resolve challenges which arise. Generate budget/actuals per po's issued and keep current. Share all project information (budgets, schedules, status) weekly with team Generate NCR's \& CAR's as needed \& share with team. Work up post mortem and budget \& share with estimator Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural steel. Ability to read structural steel blueprints Fabtrol and Tekla software experience a plus.
