**Materials Coordinator** ***Position Objective*** Responsible for managing the Materials Supply Chain to meet customer demands by coordinating functions across planning, warehouse, and traffic departments, with a focus on business goals such as customer service, inventory management, financial performance, productivity, and human resource development. ***Responsibilities*** * Coordinate execution of monthly sales forecasts for each value stream. * Coordinate execution of monthly customer service forecasts for each value stream. * Ensure timely supply of raw materials according to scheduling to maintain an optimal inventory level. * Analyze required capacity and required human resources. * Responsible for the following areas: procurement, planning, inventory control, production, warehouse, and traffic operations. * Establish and communicate performance metrics for the team and ensure periodic review. * Develop initiatives to reduce the company's material costs. * Ensure all applicable controls are implemented to maintain the integrity of the inventory control system. * Ensure standardized production planning and material requirements planning systems are established at the plant level. * Ensure coordination and communication among departments comprising the supply chain. ***Requirements*** * Completed Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree. * 5\+ years of experience in the materials area. * Advanced English. * Experience in receiving, shipping, and production picking. * Knowledge of MRP, MPS, and inventory management. * APICS certification (desirable) **Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at "Finsa" Industrial Park, near Otay Universidad.** Work location: On-site employment
