Job Summary: A professional responsible for safeguarding worker health and supporting industrial safety, hygiene, and environmental programs to prevent unsafe working conditions. Key Highlights: 1. Description and Details of Responsibilities **Leading regional company, meat processing facility, with 20 branches in Tijuana.** **Objective:** Safeguard worker health and support industrial safety, hygiene, and environmental programs to prevent and/or correct unsafe working conditions. **Responsibilities:** * Administer anti-doping and pregnancy tests to candidates during the selection process. * Monitor the annual surprise anti-doping testing plan. * Conduct medical evaluation exams for newly hired personnel. * Provide first aid to staff. * Monitor safety, hygiene, and health programs to prevent or correct hazardous or unsanitary working conditions. * Jointly investigate workplace accident causes with the Safety and Hygiene Committee. * Compile and publish workplace accident statistics by department in safety bulletins. * Update the Safety and Hygiene Committee as needed. * Conduct joint safety inspections across various departments with the Safety and Hygiene Committee. * Follow up on findings identified during safety inspections jointly with the Safety and Hygiene Committee. * Track safety and hygiene training courses required by STPS (Federal Labor Ministry). * Address irregularities jointly with the Safety and Hygiene Committee. * Evaluate necessary safety and protective equipment for personnel in coordination with the physician. * Communicate safety policies and internal safety procedures through awareness talks and training courses. * Maintain a medication logbook. * Maintain an occupational incident logbook. * Support development of health programs. * Monitor and coordinate semi-annual clinical examinations. * Implement and manage: Health campaigns, Health fairs. * Prepare IMSS ST\-1 or ST\-7 Work Risk Classification forms and monitor the process. Experience and Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in this position. Experience in production process plants.
