




Job Summary: We are seeking a cook to prepare, cook, and plate dishes under strict standards, maintaining hygiene and ensuring product quality and rotation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preparation and plating of dishes to high quality standards. 2. Strict compliance with hygiene and food handling regulations. 3. Safe operation of kitchen equipment and inventory control. * Prepare and maintain mise en place for your station throughout service. * Cook and plate dishes according to recipe standards, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines. * Perform foundational preparations (stocks, sauces, cuts, marinades, etc.). * Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure quality. * Verify freshness and product rotation (FIFO). * Communicate supply needs and shortages to the Chef or supervisor. * Strictly adhere to hygiene and food handling standards (HACCP, NOM-251, etc.). * Keep your work area, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized. * Prevent cross-contamination risks. * Operate kitchen equipment safely. * Record waste and consumption. * Assist with inventory management and receipt of supplies. * Store products according to preservation standards. * Coordinate dish timing with servers and bar staff. * Ensure clear communication with the rest of the kitchen brigade.
