DIRECT REPORTS: Assigned Inspectors. OBJECTIVE Collects and processes data, analyzes and proposes improvements to quality processes. Supports tasks assigned by the Quality Engineer and/or Quality Manager. MAIN ACTIVITIES * Comply with policies, procedures, and programs established by the organization. * Performs internal calibration, database updates, external calibration, and improvement initiatives to incorporate additional equipment into the internal calibration program. * Participates in updating procedures, test techniques, process control audits, quality alerts, visual aids, and improvement projects. * Conducts testing and/or auditing of processes at various stages within the production area, including: ESD control program, torque measurement, calibrated equipment audits, and equipment used for electrical testing. * Records statistical test and/or audit data to maintain processes under control, and to determine and sustain process and product quality and reliability using quality control procedures. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for preparing audit reports for products and processes, as well as first-article reports. * Responsible for preparing test and audit result reports to communicate the status and condition of processes. * Responsible for segregation and handling of equipment and tools until final disposition. * Responsible for verifying and/or preparing control charts to ensure they are properly implemented and serve as an effective means for preventive and/or corrective action, including consolidated reports. * Responsible for creating purchase orders and tracking them. EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES * 6 to 12 months of experience. * Computer proficiency. * Experience in creating and tracking CAR/SCAR. * Proficiency in test equipment operation. * Proficiency in measurement equipment operation. * Computer software: Office suite, SAP system. * Ability to read and interpret drawings, electrical diagrams, and electronic components.
