Job Description and Responsibilities Proactive engineer with 3–5 years of experience in quality, preferably in the electronics or consumer goods industry, with knowledge of quality principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and problem-solving tools. Capable of managing medium-complexity quality projects and collaborating effectively with other departments to drive process improvement and defect reduction. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Take initiative in quality improvement projects—from initial analysis through solution implementation and results measurement. Advanced Analysis: Conduct detailed root cause analysis using tools such as 8D and 5 Whys. Identify failure trends and propose effective, sustainable solutions. Production Process Control: Regularly monitor and audit assembly lines to ensure adherence to quality standards and product specifications. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to implement process changes, optimize workflows, and reduce defect rates. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date quality documentation (control plans, FMEAs) and generate periodic reports on key metrics (DPMO, PPM, yield rate). Audits and Compliance: Actively participate in internal and external audits. Ensure quality procedures comply with ISO 9001 requirements. Mentorship: Serve as a reference point and mentor for junior engineers and production staff on quality-related matters. Experience and Requirements **Work Experience:** 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. **Certifications (Preferred):** Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or certifications related to ISO 9001. **Education and Experience** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. **Skills and Competencies** **Technical Skills:** * Solid understanding of electronic product manufacturing processes. * Proficiency in statistical tools (SPC, control charts) and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab). * Experience implementing corrective and preventive actions. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and electronic schematics. **Soft Skills:** * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. * Results-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Proactivity and commitment to continuous improvement.
